Just like we have diversity in people we also have diversity in choices of gifts. There are those of us who would take the opportunity of Christmas gift giving to leave their mark and be remembered for giving an “unusual” Christmas gift. It could also be that we are aware that the person receiving the gift appreciates the unusual. However, unusual gifts come in different forms and different price ranges. It can be such a thing as buying a Christmas gift of floor polishing shoes or bungee jumping or paying for a trip to visit the Buddhist monks in the Himalayas or an exploration of underwater volcanoes. All depends on the taste and budget of the giver and receiver of the unusual Christmas gifts.
